This is the Squared Circle.
Erected in the ashes of the exodus of Action! Wrestling, it lasted between March and December of 2004, and it was briefly considered that it would come back in mid-2005. It was run by Mike Renner, who runs the website that this one currently occupies.
The Squared Circle was an experiment on my part to see if a wrestling promotion that operated outside of certain conventions of most eWrestling promotions could work. A lot of these conventions were things I wanted to eventually migrate towards in Action!, but couldn't because of my many clashes with Roland, the original creator of the fed.
Many of the handlers had to struggle with not only altered wrestling rules, but also a largely different enviroment on the whole. The handlers had to face the difficulty of not always getting away with an anti-authority angle, and presenting their characters as actual people working for a wrestling promotion as opposed to the completely over-the-top personalities you'd have found in places like fWo.
While the promotion clearly fell apart in the end because everyone was pretty much burned out (myself included), I don't necessarilly consider the experiment to be a complete failure. tSC was quite recognized for its achievements, and I think highly of quite a bit of the work we brought to the table here.
Read and enjoy.

The Squared Circle is a product of Incomprehensibility. This site is in no way affiliated with any major promotion in North America, nor is it directly affiliated with any eWrestling promotion aside from the recently deceased Rush Pro Wrestling. All characters in the Squared Circle are original entities created by the handlers therein (you know, aside from Dupin having to pay Tarantino royalties for the School Girl). All poser images are the property of this webspace, and the only people who have the right to take the images are the handlers and poser artists themselves.
